Details

A bifold with eight card slots, two note compartments and a hidden pocket for a spare key. It softens into shape in about three weeks and then stops growing.

The leather is skived to 0.9 mm at the fold, which is thin enough to close flat from the first day and thick enough not to crack at year ten. Every wallet is edge-painted twice and left to dry overnight.

Materials and care

Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, unlined

Keep it away from prolonged humidity. Wipe with a dry cloth and store flat. Do not use solvent-based products on vegetable-tanned leather.

Softened in three weeks and stopped
Eight card slots, two note compartments, and a hidden pocket I use for a spare key. It closes flat because the leather is skived at the fold. No cracking after fourteen months.

Both flawless. The edge paint is even and the stitching has not frayed. The Oxblood is a deep burgundy that looks almost brown in low light.
