Five customers, five bags, more than three years each. What broke, what they would change, and the sentence they all used.

We asked five customers to send their bag back for a week so we could photograph what time had done to it. None of them wanted to part with it, which is the whole review.
One Clay shoulder bag had gone two shades darker and the strap had taken the shape of a shoulder. A Noir tote had a scratch on the base, treated with balm, now almost invisible.
A third bag had been repaired once: hardware replaced, free, in year two. That is the promise working exactly as written.
